Welcome to Wheelhouse Cycle’s first blog post! This is really exciting for the entire Wheelhouse team, as this blog is a new opportunity to share more of us with all of you – more of what fuels us: food, shopping, laughter, music & swag. Guaranteed.

2017 is going to be (fire emoji)! We finished out 2016 strong with our annual “Favourite Things” Giveaway. If you missed it: each instructor at WH (we’ve got 15 of them!) surprised one of their classes with one of Heather & Nadine’s (our owners) Favourite Ottawa things!

We’re keeping the momentum going in 2017 with a nutrition program in February, more theme rides in March, a new challenge in April….we’re not slowing down and we’ll definitely be providing you with details as the year goes along.

But for now, to help you stick to those 2017 goals, check out our favourite ways to fuel our bodies when we’re not at Wheelhouse.

Pure Kitchen – We often meet at Pure Kitchen to work (they have wifi!) and grab a tasty, vegetarian lunch.



Raw Pulp & Grind – New to the Ottawa scene, Raw offers raw (too obvious!?) snacks to grab on the go. Love juice and espresso? They have those too…

Renew Cold Pressed – Don’t like to eat your vegetables? Renew Cold Press lets you drink them instead.
